John Hartson brought some cheer and humour to the Internet last night as he posted a video soon after the SPFL took decisive action towards awarding Celtic the 2019/20 Premiership title.
Just before 6pm it was confirmed that Dundee had voted Yes to the proposal from the SPFL board with Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers announced as the champions of the three lower divisions.
The Premiership has still to be decided but with the vote completed the SPFL can sit back and await news from UEFA on how they can resolve the 2019/20 season.
Two weeks ago the Belgian Pro League took decisive action when they recommended that Club Brugge are awarded their title with 11 matches left to play. That move surprised UEFA who have moved swiftly towards allowing domestic leagues to decide their fate.
With a 13 point lead and just 8 matches left to play Celtic are almost at the finishing line with little reasoned argument being put up to come to any other conclusion.
Social media has been alive with some ferocious debate about what has been happening behind the scenes, taking note of that Hartson headed to Twitter soon after the latest SPFL statement.
With a Ladbrokes medal delivered through the letterbox his seven second video was well received by Celtic fans who rushed to congratulate the Welshman and share the video clip far and wide.
