Roy McGregor has told Douglas Park what every club in Scotland is afraid to say- Put up or shut up.

For two weeks a mystery whistle-blower has dominated the news agenda, providing a welcome distraction from the cash crisis at Ibrox.

On Friday the latest statement from Ibrox called for an EGM of the SPFL with the board meeting tomorrow to consider that call.

To reach an EGM Park will require the support of 75% of clubs in the Premiership, Championship and League One and Two combined.

After two weeks of the dark arts undermining every aspect of the Scottish game Park may find support for his campaign in short supply, as likely as Celtic fans booking coach hire for an away day.

McGregor is the longest serving director in the Scottish game, speaking to the Daily Record he challenged Park to produce the goods;

My message would be to put up or shut up. I have no idea what has gone on. All I know is I wasn’t bullied into a decision in any way.

If Rangers have evidence of wrongdoing then why not put it to the board? I can’t understand why they are withholding it.

You are talking about a board with seven members, and yes they will look after their own clubs to a degree, but Rangers have Stewart Robertson on there as well.

And if they think there is something wrong they will want an enquiry as well. I don’t think Rangers will get the votes needed for an investigation otherwise.

No SPFL club has come out and publicly supported the Ibrox call for an EGM.
