It seems that Keith Jackson is still being given dodgy information.
Back in November 2011 he informed the Daily Record’s army of readers that Craig Whyte was a billionaire with wealth off the radar. He wasn’t really.
Jim McColl also got the billionaire treatment, last month Record readers were told Stuart Gibson was about to plough millions into the £20m black hole at Ibrox. Two days after breaking the story Gibson refused to take phone calls from the Record.
I’m told Aberdeen will join Rangers and Hearts to vote against SPFL shutdown. That means one more ‘no’ vote from the top flight will sink the proposals. Hibs and Ross County undeclared.

In mid-morning Jackson boldly predicted that three Premiership clubs would be voting against the board proposal to end the 2019/20 season based on the current standings.
At 5.30pm tonight the SPFL announced a 10-1 vote in favour of the board proposal, one club has still to vote. It doesn’t take a member of Mensa to guess the club that voted against.
The others voted for the proposal; it seems that a trusted source wasn’t quite feeding Jackson the full story.
