Matt Polster has made a cheeky dig at Celtic fans!

Apparently the US soccer guy sings the Scott Arfield song at home! Think about it, what is more ridiculous Arfield having a song, one of his team-mates singing it at home in Vegas during Lockdown or The Sun thinking that it’s a cheeky dig at Celtic fans!

The story certainly brought a laugh or three in-between statements and the 24/7 operation to deny Celtic the 2019/20 title, among yesterday’s highlights were a number of revelations about the reputation of International Auditors Deloitte.

If you want a real laugh Polster is the back-up to serial loser James Tavernier. If Tav is injured Polster steps in then returns to the bench or a seat in the stand.

This season the 26-year-old has started three SPFL matches and appeared as a substitute in another three games. In cup ties he has also featured against St Joseph’s of Gibraltar and East Fife.

In the last fixture before lockdown Polster replaced Tav with five minutes left to play, long enough to contribute to Bayer Leverkuson’s final goal in a 3-1 win at Ibrox.

The chunky kid from the States is under contract until May next year, among his previous clubs in the USA are SIUE Cougars, Fire Premier and Canadian side Victoria High.

NOTE: Arfield is the Canadian soccer captain that has had a close up view of Celtic lifting trophies over the last two years.
