Behind the Lock Down Celtic Park appears to be in great shape.

It’s more than three weeks since St Mirren were beaten 5-0 and it could be more than three months before supporters are welcomed back for action again.

Maintaining the stadium doesn’t come cheaply but from the image below the pitch looks in great condition with the grass growing a little as it takes an unseasonal break from hosting matches.

When football was suspended on March 13 Celtic still had a home match against St Johnstone to play plus three post split fixtures including a Glasgow derby.

No one knows when the games will be played but the clear message from UEFA is that the current season has to be completed. Any other option would open up a number of issues that could leave the game forever in the court-room.

With a 13 point advantage and eight games left to play Neil Lennon’s side are in a commanding position to drive on to their ninth successive title.

And when the turnstiles re-open the team will be in for an incredible welcome home as some sort of normality returns to every-day life.
