Lewis Morgan has admitted that being shadowed by camera crews during his loan spell at Sunderland was weird.

Last January the winger was re-united with former St Mirren boss Jack Ross as he moved out on loan- walking straight on to the set of a Netflix favourite.

Morgan was in and out of the side that lost the Checkatrade Cup to Portsmouth at Wembley then returned to the same stadium against Charlton for the Play Off Final and lost again.

The emotions of those two occasions can’t fail to generate interest with the on-loan Celt admitting that it was difficult to ignore the constant recording of film cameras.

The MLS website reports:

“It was a little weird,” Morgan told MLSsoccer.com Thursday about the camera crew’s presence. “I think they reigned it in a little from the year before; they said the Netflix crew had very much full access before I was there. I think they kind of restricted that a little more, but the cameras were there all the time. Eventually you get used to it and you don’t notice them, but to get used to it was a little bit different.”

Morgan returned to Celtic for pre-season training but still found himself on the fringes of the first team.

In the winter he got a short run as striker, scoring against Rennes in the Europa League and starting the League Cup Final before moving to Inter Miami in January.
