Real Betis are offering a green and white alternative for Celtic fans missing their football fix.

The side from Seville are due back in action next month as La Liga resumes while Celtic fans wait for the chance to see their title winning heroes for the first time since early March.

Betis were formed at the start of the 20th century when Manuel Asensio Ramos returned to his home city from Glasgow where he had watched Celtic play in their then green and white stripes.

Celtic switched to the hoops in 1903 but in the Andalusian city Real Betis remained true to their green and white stripes.

Betis have one La Liga title to their name, back in 1935 but they did win the Copa del Rey in 2005.

When Spanish football was suspended at the start of March Betis were in 12th place in the 20-team division, in their last fixture Betis won 2-1 at home to Real Madrid.
