Spanish based Celtic fans have been able to toast 9-in-a-row with Lockdown measures being stepped down in the week Neil Lennon’s squad clinched the title.

After weeks of social distancing some members of the St Pat’s Club in Valencia were able to sit outside and raise a glass or nine to the 2019/20 SPFL champions.

Across Scotland fans have been kept indoors with toasting the champions restricted to Zoom calls or other digital options.

Spain moved into Lockdown before the UK with much more severe restrictions before the number of fatalities began to fall sharply.

The bhoys in Valencia have missed out on their catch-ups watching every match live but with nine in the bag the countdown is underway towards becoming the first Scottish side to win 10 consecutive titles.

If that comes to pass next summer in Spain could be one long party for fans heading to their favourite holiday destinations.
