On the 34th anniversary of Celtic’s epic title triumph at Love Street coverage of Radio Clyde’s scoreboard from the day has surfaced.

While the whole of Scotland was focussed on Dens Park, Richard Park, James Sanderson and Hugh Keevins kept Celtic fans posted of the drama unfolding at Love Street.

Pre-match predictions are given as well as an interview with Davie Hay before the action gets underway with the hoops (or lime greens) racing in to a 4-0 half time lead.

Lisbon Lion Jim Craig keeps an eye on events at Dens Park but as Jim Stewart collects a cross later in the second half there is an unmistakable roar in Paisley.

The next 10 minutes are radio gold as the scenes at Love Street are vividly described with all thoughts on Dundee as they ended the 31 match unbeaten run of Alex MacDonald’s side.

It’s all over at Love Street with Celtic winning 5-0, Craig confirms that it’s all over at Dens Park with Celtic edging the title on goal difference.

After the final whistle Richard Park interviews almost every Celtic employee, Davie Hay is there as is Roy Aitken, Murdo MacLeod, Tommy Burns, Peter Grant, Owen Archdeacon and Danny McGrain. Chris White, Jack McGinn and Michael Kelly also muscle in with Bobby Lennox and Dr John Fitzsimmons also sharing their joy.

Like Lisbon it’s a story that no Celtic fan will ever tire of with Clyde transmitting the events to the Celtic fans not inside Love Street on that memorable day.
