Celtic fans around the world tuned in to watch a celebration of the club’s ninth successive title win, again.

With Scotland in Lockdown and football suspended since March 13 it was a surreal experience but almost 40,000 fans tuned it to the clubs You Tube channel to watch the online party.

Rod Stewart, Artur Boruc, Martin Compson, Chris Sutton, Martin O’Neill, Virgil van Dijk, Paddy McCourt, Charlie Mulgrew and Mikael Lustig were among those that passed on their congratulations to Neil Lennon and the Celtic support.

On Monday at 12.20 it was confirmed by the board of the SPFL that the season was over with Neil Lennon’s men coming out on top with an average of 2.67 points per game.

Despite a tougher run of fixtures Celtic won 26 of their 30 SPFL matches taking 28 out of 30 points since the turn of the year when the season was declared over.

The message from almost everyone was that there is still at least one more title to go which will hopefully be played out in front of a full house at Celtic Park in 12 months time.
