Moussa Dembele officially left Celtic in August 2018 but it seems that the club hasn’t left the Frenchman.

Just over two years is no big deal but like Virgil van Dijk and others Dembele packed in a plenty of memories into his stint in Glasgow.

Signed as a teenager in the summer of 2016 he settled almost instantly into the demands of Celtic and made the Glasgow derby his trademark fixture.

In September 2018 he notched a hat-trick against Mark Warburton’s pretenders and barely stopped scoring on the big occasion as he became one of the most in-demand strikers in Europe.

His departure from Celtic wasn’t handled well but in hindsight things can be viewed differently, Dembele is viewed in an entirely different light to Brendan Rodgers and is keen to keep upto date with all matters Celtic.

At the end of last season he made an unexpected appearance on SPFL Presentation Day, across social media it’s clear that his time with Celtic was more than just a few seasons on his CV.
