Craig Gordon appears to be determined to leave Celtic under a cloud.
For the last six years the player and the club have mutually benefitted but with a change in the landscape the 37-year-old seems to be going out of his way to feed elements of the media happy to put the boot into the club.
Yesterday Gordon went very public about his current situation during an interview with David Tanner on TalkSPORT.
Earlier this month The Sun had details of Gordon in talks with St Mirren, now the same publisher is claiming that his new offer from Celtic is 80% less than the wages he has been on for the last three years:

It’s understood Celts’ first offer was an 80 PER CENT cut on his previous deal. And with former club Hearts now in the race to snap up the 37- year-old, Gordon is planning to take time to consider his future.
The new offer from Celtic is probably worth more than Hearts are putting on the table.
Making negotiations public is never a smart idea but a low basic at Celtic alongside a high bonus for appearances would appear to be fair. Over the last three years Gordon has been very well rewarded while Celtic have had a top-quality keeper that didn’t cost a transfer fee.
Football rarely fails to surprise but after the events of the last 24 hours Gordon may find that the offer from Celtic is withdrawn leaving Hearts in the driving seat with their season unlikely to start until August.
