Car Share- Gerrard breaks Social Distancing rules as he gives Beale a lift to Murray Park

Steven Gerrard reported for pre-season training at Murray Park- ignoring social distancing to give first team coach Michael Beale a lift to work.

After talks with the Scottish Government the Joint Response Group agreed strict guidelines to enable clubs to get back to training.

A number of safety measures have been built in with players effectively training on their own while being monitored by coaching and fitness staff.

First to report to Murray Park was Mister Gerrard who had clearly misread the information with passenger Beale by his side.

On June 2 BBC Scotland reported:

• Players and staff refraining from spitting and chewing gum
• Players and staff maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene at home and in their cars
• Players travelling to and from the training ground individually in their own cars, with public transport to be avoided
• Clubs having to create a pre-training screening area and sanitation station
• PPE must be worn by medical staff in close contact with players, including those conducting tests and checks

James Tavernier, Ryan Jack, Steve Davis and other stars were pictured by The Sun but there was no sign of star striker Alfredo Morelos.

The former HJK Helsinki starlet is believed to be in Colombia with a trip to Murray Park requiring a flight to the USA followed by connections to London and Glasgow.
