Celtic fans have, to no one’s surprise, voted the club’s Lisbon kit as the most iconic in an online poll.
For seven years, the most successful in the club’s history, Jock Steon’s side wore the plainest of hoops with a round white collar as they stamped their image across European football.
There was no club crest, mo sponsor, nomanufacturers logo or a logo for the competition that they were playing in with that basic design proving to be a winner in the fans poll.

In second place, from an initial selection of 32, came the Centenary kit which had broader hoops that in previous years carrying CR SMITH on the front with the initial crest of the club from 1888 on one side and the Umbro double diamond on the other.
The kit competition has been running alongside speculation over what sort of look Adidas will introduce for next season with a new five year deal beginning on July 1.
So far there has been no leaks from Celtic or Adidas over the 2020/21 look but there could be a hint when the first team players return for training on Thursday.
New training kit is a possibility rather than wearing last season’s New Balance training gear for a fortnight before switching over to Adidas training kit.
