Celtic striker sports bold new look

Patryk Klimala is sporting a brand new look as he sets about the task of breaking into the Celtic side in the season ahead.

While some of his team-mates have tried to manage their flowing locks without their weekly trip to the hair stylist through Lockdown the Polish striker has simply reached out for the clippers.

It looks like an all-over Number 2 as he gets used to socially distant pre-season training at Lennoxtown.

Celtic paid £3.5m to sign Klimala from Jagiellonia in January but his arrival coincided with the return of Leigh Griffiths.

Klimala made his Celtic debut in the Scottish Cup tie away to Partick Thistle just as Griff found his form, opening the scoring at Firhill and barely looking back.

With Odsonne Edouard and Griffiths leading the charge on 9-in-a-row the new bhoy from Poland only managed one start, away to Clyde in the Scottish Cup.

Transfer activity is likely to be minimal this summer presenting an opportunity for Klimala and Ismaila Soro to make their mark.
