Celtic TV will continue in its current format, separate from the soon to be launched Virtual Season Ticket.

Yesterday the SPFL announced that Premiership clubs would be able to sell Virtual Season Tickets to overcome the issue of social distancing which will see the 2020/21 season start Behind Closed Doors or in front of greatly reduced crowds.

Celtic chief Peter Lawwell revealed that the VST would be exclusive to Season Ticket holders but there has been a lot of speculation over how the system will actually operate.

Sky Sports may have an interest, club owned products like Celtic TV already provide the Saturday 3pm function with other reports about fixed cameras inside stadiums that can be operated remotely.

Lawwell promised to give more details on VST’s with thousands of non-season ticket holders expressing an interest.

Fans outside of the UK and Ireland can subscribe to Celtic TV for £14.99 per month which gives them live access to all domestic matches. UK and Irish based supporters pay £50 a year for a watered-down service consisting of matches shown in full from midnight and occasional interviews with key figures at the club.
