Trevor Sinclair was among the first to congratulate Odsonne Edouard after he was awarded the SFWA Player of the Year.
The striker led the line for Celtic’s successful 9-in-a-row bid with 22 SPFL goals from 28 appearances as Neil Lennon’s side clinched a historic triumph.
Sinclair, who played for QPR, Manchester City and West Ham among others as he collected 12 England caps has never hidden where his Scottish football affection lies.

Edouard’s scoring has been monitored by all of the leading English sides but at the age of 22 he appears to be in no rush to leave Celtic.
With the season’s out of sync and confusion over the transfer window Celtic fans are hoping that the young French striker will be around to pick up his fourth SPFL winners medal.
After spending the 2017/18 season on loan to Celtic Edouard signed a four-year contract after the hoops paid out a club record £9m fee to Paris Saint Germain.
