Excitement among Ibrox fans is at fever pitch over the anticipated singing of Lyndon Dykes.
Once again the Close Season Cup is heading for the Blue Room of Unsurpassed Dignity as Steven Gerrard’s International Scouting Team delivers another star.
This time last year Jake Hastie and Jordan Jones were unearthed to stop 9-in-a-row. After those abject failures Dykes is now viewed as the man to finally halt Celtic’s domestic domination.
To be fair, the Australian born striker did cause Celtic some problems when they lost 2-0 to Livi last October, with Dykes removed trips to the Toni Macaroni should be a little easier for Neil Lennon’s side.

Funny to be honest. But kiddo get 30 Goals and a Championship medal then you can die it Blue, White and Red.

If you look back at some of our other signings from years back we took a punt with them and look how good they turned out to be ! I would take the chance on Dykes

Dykes spent five seasons at Queen of the South, scoring a total of nine goals in 84 Championship matches before moving to Livi last summer where he added 11 league goals to his tally. With Livi and Queen of the South playing on plastic Dykes has got six league goals on grass to his name.
While every club in the UK fronts up to the financial issues created by the world pandemic it seems that a vaccine has been discovered and is in use at Ibrox.
Next week the released players- Andy Halliday, Jordan Rossiter, Wes Foderingham, Jak Alnwick and Jason Holt- are due their final wages which should include deferrals.
Ianis Hagi and Calvin Bassey have already signed up to stop Celtic in the season ahead.
