Celtic fans are still in the dark about the additional value in buying a Season Ticket with the 2020/21 expected to start with matches played Behind Closed Doors followed by limited entry.
Next Tuesday is the deadline for existing Season Ticket holders to renew, according to one poll on Twitter around 80% of supporters are expected to renew.
In normal circumstances that would be a real cause for concern but with no guarantees of when fans will be able to attend matches it would be a strong show of support to sell 40,000 or more tickets.
Season Ticket holders will get a virtual pass to watch matches online but there has been no announcement on what additional value will be offered.
Two undefined matches are added to the 19 SPFL fixtures to make up the Season Ticket but a complimentary or half price Adidas replica kit would go some way to demonstrating that goodwill is more than a one way street.
Elsewhere in the SPFL Motherwell and Kilmarnock will give fans a credit towards their 2021/22 season ticket for every match played Behind Closed Doors in the season ahead.

Right, Celtic. We’ve played our part as the best supporters in the world. Now it’s your turn to bring in the signings we need and prove you’re as dedicated as we are. Let’s go 10iar, no holding back! Biggest season of our domestic history. Step up. ??

“Our supporters can rest assured that it is our firm intention to give additional value to our season ticket holders for this and coming seasons”.

That’s a nice gesture Celtic thanks for that it makes me feel better parting with nearly £2000 so we can huddle around our laptop.Empty words from a shameless board

Stinks of desperation now to sell season books. Maybe should have though about fans before charging full price for a stream. Ridiculous decision considering people’s circumstances

What Additional value should be: “Partial refunds for games which fans can’t attend.”
What it will be: “STH get a HUGE 20 PERCENT OFF Celtic face masks (valued at £20)”

Two weeks on and you have come up with hee haw in terms of the fabled “additional value” and you are still wanting multiple season ticket households like ours to pay £000s to watch matches on a stream. Get a grip.
