Leigh Griffiths has sent a message of support to a Celtic fan dealing with depression.
In December 2018 the striker was taken out of the Celtic squad by Brendan Rodgers sparking a wave of speculation about the Scotland star.
Griffiths is probably the most abused person in Scotland on social media but despite some very unsavoury episodes he still makes himself available and is happy to lend support to any worthwhile cause.
Never be afraid to speak out. If you’ve lost your friends because of this, they weren’t friends in the first place. If you ever need advice, please don’t hesitate to ask me. YNWA ?? https://t.co/YEMGxjjahC

After a year in which it looked like his Celtic days might be over Griffiths made a dramatic return to Neil Lennon’s side in January to play a key role in delivering 9-in-a-row.
The hoops boss switched from a 4-2-3-1 formation to 3-5-2 with Griffiths and Odsonne Edouard leading the line.
Celtic hit top form to stretch their lead at the top of the table from two points to 13, when the season was suspended on March 13 the hoops had a goal difference advantage of 25 over Steven Gerrard’s side.
