The young French midfielder was on a season long loan from Manchester City to Genoa when the Serie A fixture list concluded with a trip to the Olympico Stadium as Totti brought the curtain down on his incredible 24-year career with Roma.
Totti’s loyalty through good times and bad brought him one Serie A title but the respect of fans throughout Italy and beyond with Ntcham in opposition for his farewell appearance in May 2017.
? @OlivierNtcham: It was crazy to play against a legend like that in his last game. Yes we swapped shirts at the end, and of course I still have it! ?#AskNtcham https://t.co/rYSQGX8fTp

Nine minutes into the second half Totti came off the bench to replace Liverpool bound Mo Salah, signing off with a 3-2 win and an emotional farewell to the Roma fans.
