Celtic fans reacted with scepticism to a report that 30,000 fans could be attending home matches in August.
The deadline for existing Season Ticket holders to renew for next season is June 30 with mixed messages coming out about the uptake on tickets.
Fans are being asked to pay £500 and more with no guarantees other than a Virtual ticket giving them internet access to matches being played Behind Closed Doors or in front of restricted attendances
Beyond that it is anyone’s guess about access for fans. The most optimistic is for 50% capacity in August, others suggest January for the return of fans with all shades of opinion in-between.
Despite success in commercial and sponsorship deals, selling players and European competitions Ticket Sales remain the backbone of Celtic’s income.
With a fully hyped up campaign for 10-in-a-row the club would have expected a full take up on Season Tickets with high demand for the 8,000 or so seats available on a game to game basis.
Season Ticket holders have been promised ‘added value’ but so far that has still to be defined.

Brilliant. It’s the start of the recovery.
Looks like there will need to be a ballot to be one of the 30k.
Hopefully this will be part of the sway ticket allocation as well.

The infamous Celtic ballot. So if you miss out on the ballot you still pay the same amount as the guys that are actually picked to attend the games? No chance.

Fake news!!! Celtic have a season ticket deadline. Even at one meter Celtic are not going to be able to accommodate that number.

Ticket sales are well over 30,000 so that comment doesn’t make any sense, plus we will sell around 52k this year just like last year

Not going to happen unfortunately

Smoke and mirrors nonsense worthy of the other lot – and the SG Guidance does NOT suggest large outdoor events as soon as 23rd July.

Can’t see how they can do that. They can’t pick and choose what season ticket holders get to go to what games!!! I’d rather wait til we can all go back together safely ?

Ouch ticket sales must be lower than even the board expected. This is floating pitch super casino levels of unlikely.
