Ibrox fans have been treated to a new crest and a new digital transformation strategy but they still can’t order a Castore shirt for the new season.
Marketing chief James Bisgrove has been full of activity with a blizzard of buzzwords linking ‘the most successful club in the world’ with a bright new future respecting the heritage that left 276 creditors including Her Majesty high and dry in 2012.
The makeover was launched by some photoshopped images at Glasgow landmarks and some deep and meaningful comments from Bisgrove and Stewart Robertson. Despite becoming chairman in April, Douglas Park has still to feature in a video interview of the TV service of the club which is now ground-breaking in modern communications.

So far no reports of pictures of the crest on the city landmarks have been reported.
Despite the launch of the new Castore kit last week fans have no way to place an order for the exciting shirt.
Castore’s own website barely mentions their breakthrough client, the club doesn’t have anything on their site other than a link to a holding page promising to take pre-orders from August 1.
Sports Direct and House of Fraser have withdrawn the option to pre-order but fans can look at images of their new digital crest and typeface.
