Footy Headlines has published a full image of Celtic’s Lime Green change kit for the new season.

Nothing official has been released by Celtic or Adidas but yesterday Celtic Underground tweeted an image of the top in a bag complete with price tag.

Lime Green was the colour used by Celtic for their change kit in the mid-eighties, most famously associated with the 5-0 title winning display over St Mirren in 1986. Going into the final match of the season two points behind Hearts, Davie Hay’s side won 5-0 while Hearts crashed to a 2-0 defeat at Dundee with Celtic taking the title on goal difference.

With dark green trim and sponsors logo the three stripes only covers the shoulders to create an unobtrusive kit.

On Friday morning the new Adidas home kit was released with the Celtic website swamped with orders from fans anxious to be the first to get the new look hoops.

A third black top has still to be released with kids, infants, ladies, leisure and training wear ensuring a massive influx of cash as the club waits to discover when fans can be allowed back into Celtic Park.
