Clubs have been selling season tickets on the expectation that a phased return of supporters will happen at some stage in the season.
A number of Lockdown measures are easing this month with pubs and restaurants opening for business but it seems that in the first weekend of August it will be considered unsafe to have crowds inside football stadiums.
Supporters can travel by bus or train across the country wearing a face mask but even a crowd of 10,000 inside the 60,000 capacity Celtic Park will be out of bounds when the season kicks off on August 2.
Celtic also have August home matches against Aberdeen and Motherwell which will be available to Season Ticket holders.
