will join some of his colleagues on the new look Celtic TV.

The former and Manchester United midfielder has earned a reputation for speaking his mind as he makes his way in the media after retiring from playing at the age of 32.

Stewart has been very vocal recently about Hearts being relegated to and is bound to provide a welcome addition to the Celtic media team.

Celtic’s website announced:

As well as a new open-air studio, we are delighted to announce that some of the biggest names in the industry will be joining us as the new season gets underway.

Our matchday line-up for the season ahead will include Chris Sutton, John Hartson, Gordon Strachan, and ’s on commentary. These stars will join our existing presentation team and will feature across the season.

The season will open with a home match against Hamilton on August 2 with season ticket holders having the option to watch through their virtual ticket or the coverage from Sports.

On August 15 and 29 have the field to themselves with home matches against Aberdeen and Motherwell while the club works to get fans back inside the stadium.

With Neil Lennon’s squad chasing a record 10th successive title there is bound to be extra attention on the SPFL campaign with Season Ticket holders assured of being able to watch every match, in person or through their mobile apps.
