At 7am this morning Celtic welcomed Adidas on board, with all of the legalities with New Balance signed off.
Up until the final day of their deal New Balance extracted some value with Moi Elyounoussi interviewed on Celtic TV wearing their kit that won’t be worn again by the players.
Last night Celtic declared themselves as the ‘most decorated club in Scotland’ with some equally aggressive messaging in this morning’s Adidas announcement.
Not for second best. One decade in the making.
Those taglines came at the bottom of the statement and suggest a strong confrontational message in the season ahead as Celtic chase a 10th successive title.
Pictured at the top of the message is Scott Brown- providing confirmation that the kits worm by Callum McGregor and Kris Ajer at the weekend were the genuine article.
Fans will be able to pre-order the new kit on July 3 with orders available for collection on July 10 as Glasgow and large parts of Scotland is turned Green and White.
