Steven Gerrard has admitted that Lille are nowhere near the asking price for Alfredo Morelos.
The usual Scottish based speculation about interest in the striker took a new twist last Sunday when a tweet from a respected French source claimed that Lille had agreed personal terms with the striker.
Lille haven’t made any public comment with no sign of an offer coming in from the French side or elsewhere.

With Florian Kamberi back at Hibs and Jermain Defoe suffering a hamstring injury Gerrard is left with just one striking option for Saturday’s match away to Aberdeen.
Since losing last season’s title Gerrard has signed two defenders and a goalkeeper with an appeal last week for more funds ignored by the board of directors.
Despite having three years left on his Ibrox deal Jordan Jones has been told that he is free to find a new club.
