Celtic are believed to have turned their focus on securing a goalkeeper to the continent.

Scott Bain played all but 30 minutes of the two matches against Nice and Lyon and is expected to play the full match against Paris Saint Germain on Tuesday night.

The departures of Fraser Forster and Craig Gordon has left Celtic very exposed in that position with Ross Doohan and Conor Hazard next in line.

There has been speculation linking Celtic with Joe Hart and David Marshall over the lats few weeks but it seems that the recruitment team are spreading their net a little further.

The Telegraph reports:

Celtic have turned their attention to the European market for their No 1 goalkeeper, which may put a move for Joe Hart in doubt. The Scottish champions have been looking for a keeper following Fraser Forster’s return to Southampton following his season-long loan

Neil Lennon seemed confident of securing Forster for another season but there seemed to be a change of mind once the keeper returned to Southampton.

With two years left to run on his contract at St Mary’s the former England keeper seems to be in no rush to move on again leaving Celtic with just two weeks to find another keeper ahead of the opening SPFL Premiership match at home to Hamilton Accies on August 2.
