Ibrox fans reacted with despair as their club announced their first ever sleeve sponsor- Tomket Tires.
The little known Czech based firm has one outlet in the UK, in London plus a shop in Dublin where the Gullible can stock up on the tyre firm that will be on sleeve of James Tavernier in the season ahead. No details have been released about the value of the deal which was negotiated by Commercial and Marketing chief James Bisgrove.
Tomket Tires won’t appear on the shirts being bought by supporters with the first batch of 50,000 Castore kits expected to be delivered on Saturday.
Phil and Tom Beahon have been keeping an unusually low profile in recent weeks with no sign of the best-in-class kit actually being in production.
If they are to meet Saturday’s delivery date the shirt should be in the UK by now, next Thursday the new look club store is scheduled to open at Ibrox.

Ruining the top, too many sponsors, we can get money other ways, selling the jersey , selling our souls.

Sorry but that absolutely ruins the top. Not feeling that at all

Getting pissed off with all this sponsorship all over the strip , what’s the point of getting a decent brand and then cheapening it ??

Pedantic, but please (other than the company name) spell tyre and tyres correctly. In a wider context the standard of English in the recent online releases of kit, MyGers etc has been really poor. Small details but the releases obviously aren’t proof read

ffs really , get a castore tap ,Rangers turn it into a fukkin advertising gimmick

What’s with all these sponsors appearing all over a decent kit, we’re gonna end up like the Scandinavian teams with sponsors all over the place and not have an actual kit ffs
