Scott Arfield has predicted a ‘special year’ as he modelled the new Ibrox home kit created by Castore which will be available from Sports Direct next month.
Alongside James Tavernier, Ianis Hagi and Jermain Defoe the Canadian soccer ace featured in a promotional video for the kit with Alfredo Morelos posted missing.
The Colombian has been touted as the club’s biggest asset at every opportunity but was nowhere to be seen as members of Steven Gerrard’s squad drooled over the breakthrough kit created from a Warehouse in the Wirral by the Beahon Brothers.
Morelos has been top scorer in each of his three seasons at Ibrox but has only featured briefly in the training videos coming out of Ibrox.
As I say, if it’s going to be a special year then this will be the kit we celebrate in
Arfield has completed two clean sweeps of failure at Ibrox despite the boasts that accompanied his signing from Burnley.
Since failing to stop 9-in-a-row Gerrard has added Calvin Bassey and Jon McLaughlin to his squad while losing Andy Halliday, Wes Foderingham and Jon Flanagan.
