Matt Polster has joined the Ibrox summer exodus after joining New England Revolution for an undisclosed fee.

The Soccer Guy made a handful of error strewn appearances for the Gerrard Revolution with his final mistake being to create the third goal for Bayer Leverkusen during a five minute substitute appearance.

Polster joins club legend Andy Halliday, Wes Foderingham, Jon Flanagan, Jordan Rossiter and Jason Holt on the way out with Flo Kamberi and Sheyi Ojo returned to their loan clubs.

In reply to the summer cull Gerrard has brought in Calvin Bassey and Jon McLaughlin. The club has admitted that Nikola Katic will be out of action for the foreseeable future while Alfredo Morelos is suffering from a mystery injury.

Polster was brought in to provide competition for James Tavernier but the 27-year-old failed to make a positive impact as Tav continued to be exposed defensively.

Since taking over from Dave King as chairman Douglas Park has yet to feature in any type of video interview, limiting his comments to club statements.
