Super Scoreboard has corrected their earlier claim that matches shown on Sky Sports won’t be available to Virtual Season Ticket holders.
The news came at the start of their 6pm Phone-In show and caused alarm among supporters with Celtic’s opening fixture against Hamilton on August 2 the first that would be affected.
Sky Sports have selected that game for a 4.30pm screening but according to the correction that match will be on the Virtual Season Ticket as well as the broadcaster.
More clarity in virtual season tickets: All clubs can show all their home games to season ticket holders. Clubs opting to use a pay per view system CAN’T show a game via that if it’s on Sky.

Interestingly the follow up tweet from Radio Clyde suggests that clubs have a Pay-Per-View option.
While that would be an attractive option for supporters that attend a handful of matches each season the pricing would be critical. Season Ticket holders appear to be paying full price for what at this stage is a virtual ticket, on a game by game basis that would work out at around £30 per match.
Celtic have two further home matches in August, against Aberdeen and Motherwell, that will be on the virtual ticket although the club are hoping that the Scottish Government will allow some fans to attend.
