Chris Sutton is well used to the bizarre way that Scottish football operates but the former Celtic striker seemed taken aback by the reaction of Ally McCoist to the release of the SPFL fixtures.
The darkest corners of social media are almost expected to be howling about conspiracies but almost as soon as the fixtures were announced McCoist was questioning the computer in his inimitable way.
McCoist is a regular on TalkSPORT these days with the Daily Record quick to pick up on his comments and share them with their online readers.

Sutton and McCoist were regulars on BT Sport last season but with Sky Sports having the contract for this season’s SPFL football their appearances are in doubt.
Sky might decide to bring in some of the BT pundits or stick with their tried, tested and dated formula involving Kris Boyd, James McFadden and AN Other.
McCoist seems upset that his old club start the season away to Aberdeen then travel to Celtic Park on October 17.
Last season in the first batch of fixtures Celtic were away at Ibrox, Pittodrie, Fir Park, Easter Road and the Toni Macaroni in the first batch of fixtures- Neil Lennon’s side just got on with winning 9-in-a-row.
