Albian Ajeti will be able to play for Celtic in Tuesday’s Champions League qualifier against KR Reykjavik.
The signing deadline was 11pm on Wednesday but despite the striker signing after that UEFA allows two wildcard signings to be added by 11pm on Monday- the day before the match takes place.

Neil Lennon and his staff will assess Ajeti’s fitness over the coming days. The Swiss internationalist hasn’t been involved in team training for a month with his last playing time coming on July 8 when he got a five minute run against Burnley.
While Celtic’s season has been disrupted by the postponement of two matches due to Boli Bolingoli’s trip to Spain KR Reykjavik are back in action tonight when they host FH in a league match.
The Icelandic league was put on hold but tonight’s match is KR’s first action since their 2-0 win over Fjolnir on July 30.
