Alan Brazil has hit out at the actions of eight Aberdeen players and Boli Bolingoli which has put the Scottish football season at risk.

After the first match of the season eight of Derek McInnes’ squad decided to visit two city centre premises while the Celtic defender decided to treat himself to a day trip to Malaga.

Aberdeen will miss three fixtures with Neil Lennon’s sides matches against St Mirren and Aberdeen postponed with no likely date available to reschedule them until next year.

Everyone in the Scottish game is under increase pressure with Brazil holding back a little as he attacked the selfish actions of the players involved.

Are people thick or what? Really? Crazy eh. Don’t get me wrong, people get stuck in Spain, if you’re not back by Saturday night, or Friday night, 12 O’clock I understand that right because it was impossible for them to get back.

But these clowns, I don’t get it. Can I, can I have any sympathy for the Aberdeen players? They go to a bar? Well I mean, you can’t do it. Aberdeen and Celtic’s opponents, should they get the points?

There are no rules or punishments in the SPFL or SFA for matches that are postponed in these circumstances. This weekend Celtic were due to host Aberdeen but both clubs will miss out on that match.

For Neil Lennon it means going into a Champions League qualifier on Tuesday with just two rather than four competitive matches in the bank.

Aberdeen will pick up on their fixture backlog by playing St Johnstone on Thursday August 20.
