Vakoun Bayo scored twice on his Toulouse debut but he couldn’t help his new club going down to a 5-3 defeat away to Grenoble.
The Ivorian dropped down the pecking order with the signing of Albian Ajeti with a season long switch agreed to the side relegated from Ligue 1 when the 2019/20 season was halted.
Bayo scored in the 30th and 45th minutes but his team-mates at the other end lost four goals before the half time.

Bayo did score a double for Celtic at this stage last season but after a plea from Craig Levein the SPFL decided to award both as own goals from Hearts players.
The on loan striker scored in Celtic’s Scottish Cup win earlier this year but with Leigh Griffiths restored to favour and Patryk Klimala signed Celtic were looking elsewhere for goals.
A season in the French Second Division will give the 23-year-old the opportunity to play regularly again but it’s difficult to imagine him returning to make the breakthrough at Celtic.
