After social media was swarmed with complaints Castore are reported to be launching a probe into the large number of damaged shirts delivered to loyal Ibrox fans.

Release date was Saturday August 1 but the first kits didn’t start to arrive until Monday despite the ‘better never stops’ claim from the Castore founders from their luxury Merseyside HQ.

Letters were missing on some tops, some had holes in them while one fan paid £60 plus £5 delivery for a shirt without the club badge as social media put the firm in a very different light from their PR gloss.

After lots of media interviews following the announcement of their deal with the Ibrox club Tom and Phil Beahon have been keeping a low profile as the quality of their brand is being trashed on social media.

The good news for fans is that the shirt is also available from Sports Direct, anyone ordering online can get the name and number of one of their heroes added free of charge.
