Celtic fans have no respect for Charlie Adam’s grapevine.
According to the former Liverpool and Scotland star, who is currently on the look out for a new club Albian Ajeti isn’t really up to much.
That will be the guy that West Ham paid £8m for last summer when Adam was available as a free agent, the 23-year-old with 10 international caps for Switzerland.
Since Celtic were first linked with Ajeti fans have taken a look at his record and the footage on You Tube.
He isn’t from the Vakoun Bayo, Marian Shved, Marvin Compper, Ismaila Soro category. Ajeti has a bit of pedigree and quality.
Best of all his profile is very similar to Moi Elyounoussi who he played alongside at Basel.
After a nightmare season at Southampton the Norwegian was quickly back to top form during a loan season at Celtic, making a very obvious impact on the team.
With his Ibrox background Celtic fans know exactly what Adam is driving at. They also know when their own club is taking a punt and hoping for the best in a signing.
Ajeti is a cut above that level, hopefully at Celtic he ensures that the season ahead is as uncomfortable as the last nine for Adam as he looks to prolong his career sliding down the English football ladder.
“I’ve heard through the grapevine that he’s not at the level that everybody thinks he is.” ?

Charlie Adam and Ewan Murray writing off Ajeti.
Wouldn’t be surprised if the boy just packs his bags and goes back to Switzerland now.

Still find it shocking that Charlie Adam is younger than Cristiano Ronaldo
