The Ibrox clear out has continued today with Jamie Murphy joining Hibs on loan for a season which ties in with the end of his contract. Murphy will retain his Ibrox salary with Hibs paying a small percentage.
In the summer of 2018 a £1.8m fee took the winger from Brighton with the south coast club becoming a favoured scouting source with Conor Goldston and Leon Balogun making the same journey.
After picking up an injury on the plastic pitch at Kilmarnock at the start of the 2018/19 season Murphy has been a drain on the Ibrox wage bill with no chance of any sort of fee coming in for the 31-year-old.
Young McCrorie was involved in a similar move last week to Aberdeen with Greg Docherty joining Hull for a fee believed to be around £150,000.
Jordan Jones, Greg Stewart, Brandon Barker and Glenn Middleton remain on the Ibrox payroll.
? We are delighted to confirm the signing of winger Jamie Murphy.
? The Scotland international arrives at Easter Road on an initial season-long loan, with a permanent one-year contract to follow.
