The Ibrox social media team had to reach for the delete button after releasing some images from training yesterday.

Ambling around the fringes protecting his hamstring injury was Jermain Defoe. Anxious to remind fans that the former England striker is on the comeback trail an image of Defoe but was published on Twitter.

Eagle eyed followers, many picking the loose letters from their premium brand kit out of their washing machines, noted that the badge on Defoe’s shorts had gone with the wind with part of it hanging by a thread.

Social media has been completely swamped by angry Ibrox fans highlighting the poor value they’ve had from their alleged premium brand kit.

Different coloured tops have been contrasted, quality varies amazingly and most incredibly school jumpers have been rebranded into Junior Lifestyle Sweatshirts with a £55 price tag.

So far the club and Castore have kept quiet on the kit shambles leaving the SLO to fire fight through Twitter.

With the training kit flagging after a month it looks like there is plenty of grief around the corner for the Castore lads down in Liverpool.
