Neil Lennon has revealed full details of Boli Bolingoli’s trip to Spain.

After the 5-1 win over Hamilton Accies the players were given two days off in light of their heavy schedule from Loughborough to playing three friendlies in France.

That time should have been used to rest up, incredibly Bolingoli opted to treat himself to a quick trip to Spain, arriving on Monday and flying back the following day.

It was an incredible decision that will result in Celtic’s matches against St Mirren and Aberdeen being postponed and puts a huge question mark over the Champions League qualifier with KR Reykjavic which is scheduled for August 18.

The issue dominated today’s Scottish Government media conference with all of the opening questions coming from sports reporters.

The Scottish Government held talks with football’s Joint Response Group this morning with a statement from the SFA and SPFL later this afternoon.

Aberdeen’s home match tomorrow against Hamilton is likely to be postponed as well as the Celtic v Aberdeen game on Saturday.
