Kris Ajer is apparently a transfer target for West Bromwich Albion.
Since the spring there has been a flow of speculation linking the defender with a move away from Celtic.
According to a report in The Athletic, West Brom have Ajer on a short list of defenders as Slaven Bilic prepares his side for a return to the EPL.
With two years still to run on his contract Celtic have a strong element of control over what happens but it could be that Neil Lennon is looking for two central defenders rather than one following the exit of Jozo Simunovic.
Nir Bitton has partnered Chris Jullien in central defence against Reykjavik and Dundee United leaving Lennon with a big decision to make tonight against Ferencvaros.
If Ajer is likely to be on his way the Celtic boss will be looking at a new partnership but throughout last season when he was available the young Norwegian was in the starting XI.
