Chris Sutton echoed the thoughts of the Celtic support as news emerged tonight that Boli Bolingoli had taken a short break in Spain when Neil Lennon’s squad were given two days off.
Rather than recharge at home after sitting on the bench against Hamilton Accies the Belgian planned a quick break to Spain before returning for training on Wednesday morning.
It broke every rule in the book as football attempts to get back into motion with players under the spotlight after the incident involving eight Aberdeen players.
There should be no way back for Bolingoli at Celtic now. If he knowingly went to Spain before the Kilmarnock game and broke quarantine rules he showed he really doesn’t give a sh## about his teammates, the manager and the support… Celtic should get rid immediately

There is no room for excuses from Bolingoli, a trip to Spain isn’t decided on a hunch with the player having to make arrangements in advance and well aware of the consequences as he went through four lots of airport checks to enjoy two days in the sun.
It seems that the incident came to light at some stage today, 24 hours after the player appeared as a substitute against Hamilton Accies.
Despite paying a fee reported to be around £2.5m Celtic will be giving serious consideration to the range of sanctions that they can use against the player.
