Celtic are set to sign David Turnbull with The Sun claiming that a deal could be in place this week.
Motherwell visit Celtic Park on Sunday but if the report is accurate they’ll be without the midfielder who must also be doubtful for Thursday’s Europa League tie with Glentoran.
A deal was agreed last June but after a medical highlighted a knee condition Turnbull required surgery with the two clubs unable to agree a new deal.
Now it seems that everything is in place with The Sun reporting:

The likely arrival of Turnbull would be a likely sign that Tom Rogic is on his way out of Celtic.
An enquiry was made for the Australian last week with Rogic missing from the Celtic bench in the 1-0 win away to Dundee United.
Motherwell’s record transfer fee is the £1.75m they picked up from selling Phil O’Donnell and James McFadden but they may be looking for a young Celtic player in on loan as part of the deal to sell Turnbull.
