Celtic have completed all of the detail on Albian Ajeti’s transfer with the official announcement expected this afternoon.
The striker flew into Glasgow yesterday with Celtic and West Ham agreeing a fee to make the move permanent.
Two weeks ago when the story first emerged it was initially on a season long loan but it seems like things have developed favourably over the last few days.
Celtic expected to announce the deal later today. Then, I’m told, Ajeti is off house hunting!
He has always been Neil Lennon’s No1 target this window, for a striker. He tried to sign him last summer from Basel.
A happy ending for Celtic on what’s been quite the transfer saga.

Neil Lennon has made bringing in a new striker a transfer priority after seeing the reliance placed on Odsonne Edouard over the last two seasons.
Patryk Klimala is the only other option currently available to the Celtic boss but the arrival of the Swiss internationalist should open up a whole raft of new options.
Ajeti enjoyed two very productive seasons at Basel before joining West Ham last summer in an £8m deal but under two different managers his career never got started in London.
