Odsonne Edouard is out of the Celtic side to play Ferencvaros tonight with the ho opsstarting the match without a recognised striker. Patryk Klimala and Albian Ajeti are among the substitutes.

The Frenchman was on the end of some brutal attacks by Dundee United on Saturday with referee Andrew Dallas refusing to take any action.

Kris Ajer, Hatem Abd Elhamed and James Forrest are back in the Celtic starting XI to face Ferencvaros tonight after being on the bench for Saturday’s 1-0 win over Dundee United.

Defenders Jeremie Frimpong and Nir Bitton drop onto the bench for the clash with the Hungarian champions as Neil Lennon’s side attempt to progress towards the group phrase of the elite competition.

Last week Lennon’s side bounced back from a 10-day enforced rest to beat Reykjavik 6-0 in the first Qualifying Round.

The next night Ferencvaros beat Djugarden 2-0 at home and although they aren’t the most famous name any win against the Swedish champions needs to be respected.

Tonight’s winners go into Monday’s draw for the third Qualifying Round which will also be played in a one off match before the Play Off round which will be over two legs.
