Neil Lennon has named an unchanged side for today’s clash with Motherwell following Wednesday’s Champions League exit to Ferencvaros.

Social media rumours were full of claims that Kris Ajer and Olivier Ntcham would be dropped but both are in the starting XI with new bhoy David Turnbull on the bench against the team at which he began the week training with.

It has been a dramatic three days since the Champions League exit with a win all that matters against Motherwell to return some stability to the club.

Since Lennon’s comments after the match it has been open season on which players he was referring to that had started to look elsewhere.

Even though they were the described as great lads at Friday’s media conference the extent of the issue won’t be clear until the transfer window closes in six weeks’ time.

A win today will cut the gap at the top of the table down to six points with the champions having played two matches fewer due to Boli Bolingoli’s ill-considered trip to Malaga.

CELTIC: Barkas; Elhamed, Jullien, Ajer, Taylor; Brown, McGregor, Forrest; Ntcham, Elyounoussi; Christie

SUBS: Bain, Bitton, Ajeti, Klimala, Soro, Turnbull, Frimpong, Harper, McInroy
