Celtic have been linked with an interest in Ivan Sapanojic.
The striker is out of favour at Atletico Madrid and looks like being sent out on loan for this season.
At the moment Celtic appear to be well covered with four strikers but with four weeks left in the transfer window supporters are wary of interest in Odsonne Edouard which would require a Plan B.
Sapanojic moved to Atletico in a £500,000 deal from Benfica last season, after just 64 minutes of action in La Liga he is in need of serious match action which is unlikely to be on offer if he was to move to Scotland.

Saponjic has parked, for the moment, the interest of teams such as Celtic in Scotland or Crystal Palace in England, waiting for that opportunity to arrive in the coming weeks, that game that can change his history at Atlético.
As it stands it seems that Celtic are unlikely to be looking for another striker with Edouard, Albian Ajeti, Patryk Klimala and Leigh Griffiths all currently available to Neil Lennon.
Sapanojic has played for clubs in Belgium, Portugal and Serbia but has yet to hit double figures in his career to date.
