Jonathan Afolabi has extended his Celtic contract ahead of joining Dundee on a season long loan.
The 20-year-old joined Celtic last summer after being freed by Southampton and is now contracted to 2023 as he prepares to start life in the Scottish Championship.
Irish U21 striker Jonathan Afolabi signed a new contract with Celtic, before joining Dundee on loan today.
His new deal with the Scottish champions will run until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Afolabi will spend the whole of this season at The Dees.

Afolabi showed a lot of promise in his early appearances last season, playing with pace and power with a determination around the penalty box.
A hamstring injury on international duty for Ireland set him back, after going on loan to Dunfermline in January he scored twice in six appearances before Lockdown brought his season to a halt.
Although he didn’t feature in Celtic’s pre-season friendlies the contract extension suggests that he is highly rated by the coaching staff.
Dundee are second favourites to Hearts to win the Championship but with those two meeting at Tynecastle on October 16 there will be an early comparison with the season reduced to 27 matches.
